Red Shutter
Step 1 - Figure out how big RED one is based on the current design
Not so easy, lots of pictures, plus knowing the size of the PL mount, plus using the Arri 235 PL mount as scale reference and we come up with a scale to build a model around RED.
Step 2 - Model it in Solidworks
This took all weekend plus some more time.... based on scale size, trying to get things right, all the filleting (well not needed, but it should look good right?) and this is what I come up with
The Body - all I needed
The front stuff added, not needed but nicer to get a feel
Now in matte black!
Step 3 - Figure out how much room I have to play with and build a mockup area to design around
