Keith J. Wakeham

Senior Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate

Update: Check out the online Edrawing, you can pull the design apart and see everything.

Started in March 2007 and finishing up in September 2007, the K1 project was started to do two things. 1) Push the limits of my design abilities. 2) Create a design protfolio so that I may get a workterm in the emerging alternative energy automotive sector.

If you are from a company that is interested in the K1 project and believe I would be a useful addition please feel free to contact me any time by using the email or via the phone numbers listed in my resume. If you have questions about the K1 feel free to email me at kwakeham (_at) gmail (dot) com.

The K1 project was only to be designed and (unfortunatly) never be built. Their are still engineering problems to be solved with the design. I would like to share the design entirely making it open source sometime in the November to December time frame. However the project files are 17GB so if I have time I will get selective and trim it down into final package and find someone to host the files.

Feel free to ask me anything at all about it. I'm currently enrolled working at General Motors in Oshawa as a production group leader running the "cradle line/Wheels group" for the Chev Impala. Challenging but not what I want to be doing. One more workterm to go before I graduate from Sept - Dec of 2008.
