Goals of the Project
The project is intended to determine the viability of use of hydrogen gas in exsisting combustion engines through the development of mathematical and computer models that predict performance accurately.
Term 8 Senior Engineering Students
As part of the requirement to graduate, senior students are required to complete a project chosen by the team. It was choosen in Term 7 before the last workterm and should have most research conducted before starting Term 8 in January. The team must choose something they are interested in solving then approach a professor to be there supervisor in conjunction with a coordinator. The Hydrogen Combustion Engine team was very fortunate to have Dr. Neil Hookey agree to supervise the development. He has been an invaluable resource and has provided advice to keep the project goals realistic.
